McKenna RFID Webinar
We had a successful Webinar with the RFID Journal last Thursday. We talked to an audience of about 130 about the legal and government relations issues associated with how the RFID industry protects their patents and intellectual property.
Director of the US Patent and Trademark Office's Telecommunications sector spoke eloquently about the explosion in the number of RFID-related patents his office has seen in the last 18 months. He plans to expound more at length about how his office will deal with those patent applications in the future, to gain more institutional knowledge and consistency at the Pre-Conference we are co-hosting with the RFID Journal Live! Conference in Orlando.
MLA Patent law partner Rel Ambrozy offered his insights about how companies should protect themselves against patent litigation. And I tried to offer some info about how Congress is simultaneously looking to change all of the rules on patent reform.
